  • ENGLISH 7-1 BLOCK: students were given time to work on U.9 Vocabulary Workshop; capitalization and commas review/practice
  • ENGLISH 8-1 BLOCK: Audio-into, Choosing the Right Word, Syn & Antonyms for U.9 done with the teacher; Comma review and practice pp.650-657
  • FAMILY LIFE: class read section on Wellness (Mind/Body/Spirit) and did "The Empty Well" activity
  • LITERATURE: class read "My Furthest-Back Person" by Alex Haley and answered reflective questions
COPELAND HOMEWORK:

  • ENGLISH 7-1: finish U.9 Completing the Sentence; finish English HW on Google Classroom
  • ENGLISH 8-1: finish pp. 650-657 (ODDS ONLY)---remember that you must bring a hard copy to class (so if you typed it, print it)
  • LITERATURE: finish questions regarding "My Furthest-Back Person" and Black History
