TODAY IN 7B: PE ENGLISH 7-1 & 7-2: students submitted A Midsummer Night's Dream Act III Flashcards/Quizlets; class took Act III Quiz and started Vocabulary Workshop ENGLISH 8-1 & 8-2: submitted Ch.8-14 The Devil's Arithmetic packet and took coordinating assessment  RELIGION: pp.26-28 Mary: Model of Faith  SPANISH LITERATURE: students submitted Venn Diagrams, re-read "Seventh Grade" & "Stolen Day," and worked on comparing literary works HOMEWORK FOR 10-23-18: ENGLISH 7 AND ENGLISH 8: go online and do audio intro to U.4 words, highlight the definitions/synonyms, do "Choosing the Right Word"

TODAY IN 7B: MONDAY MORNING ASSEMBLY AR READING ENGLISH 7: students used the play (in text form) to finish responding to Act III questions; class was given time to begin Shakespearean vocab flashcards ENGLISH 8: students were given class time to complete packet and work on writing assignment in class RELIGION: Jesus in the Scriptures (the Gospel of John and identifying the Evangelists) pp.22-25 LITERATURE: class read "Seventh Grade" by Gary Soto & "Stolen Day" by Sherwood Anderson----discussed each set of questions afterwards, and then worked independently to compare and contrast the main characters HOMEWORK FOR 10-22-18:  ENGLISH 7-1 & 7-2: do all 14 flashcards (or Quizlet) for A Midsummer Night's Dream Act III, Scene 2 ENGLISH 8-1 & 8-2: complete Ch.14 Writing Activity (bring hard copy to class) , finish packet, and complete PEEL for Ch.12 and 13 of A Devil's Arithmetic LITERATURE: complete Venn Diagram of two main characte
