TODAY IN 7B: PE ENGLISH 7 (ENGLISH 8-1: submitted Ch.11 PEEL) BLOCK ENGLISH 8-2: Reviewed PEEL paragraph structure, Read Ch.11 of The Devil's Arithmetic and debated the question of to know vs. to not know---which is better and why? RELIGION: Rosary notes finished (for a few) and time on posters SPANISH LITERATURE: HOMEWORK FOR 10-11-18: ENGLISH 7-1 & 7-2: study vocab for tomorrow's test ENGLISH 8-1: respond to question on G.C. (will not count against you)--study for U.3 Vocab Test ENGLISH 8-2: complete PEEL for Ch. 11 and respond to Google Classroom question RELIGION: Test on the Rosary---must be able to match which set events are meditated upon during specific Mysteries (example: The Scourging at the Pillar belongs to The Sorrowful Mysteries).   LITERATURE: finish essay response for tomorrow's assessment (In Ray Bradbury's "All Summer in a Day" the other children do not accept Margot because she is different from them.

TODAY IN 7B: RELIGION: students used the Catholic Bible to find scriptural evidence of each Sorrowful Mystery; key notes on the Rosary ENGLISH 7: Finish U.3 Vocabulary Workshop pages; read Scene 2 of Act II in A Midsummer Night's Dream ENGLISH 8-1: read Ch.11 of The Devil's Arithmetic and worked on Word Choice, Dialogue, and Details (from the text) together as a class ENGLISH 8-2: time given to work on U.3 Vocabulary Workshop; PEEL review and Ch.9 Example (for credit); read Ch.10 in class ART: dedicated to Rosary Posters  MUSIC HOMEWORK: ENGLISH 8-1: PEEL for Ch.11 (remember, you may do PEEL for "Would it have been better to know or not know your fate?"). I will collect your packets tomorrow. ENGLISH 8-2: do PEEL for Ch.10
