7TH GRADE, YOU SOUND AMAZING!! TODAY IN 7B: PE ENGLISH 7-1: students made up missing tests; wrote Advent Plans according to Fr. Daniel's homily on 12/2 and Bulletin on 12/9; time given to work on U.7 Choosing the Right Word ENGLISH 7-2: students made up missing tests; wrote Advent Plans according to Fr. Daniel's homily on 12/2 and Bulletin on 12/9;  ENGLISH 8-2 BLOCK: Class did AUDIO-INTRO to U.7 Vocabulary and played online review game; students reviewed Advent Plan guidelines (given an extension); then, the class worked to write a solid Thesis Statement for the Holocaust Research Paper RELIGION: Christmas Concert practice in the church SPANISH LITERATURE: students took a Wonder vocab test, read pp. 103- and then were given time to work on Characterizations and new vocab COPELAND HOMEWORK: ENGLISH 7-1 & 7-2: finish Advent Plan and submit on Google  Classroom  ENGLISH 8-1 & 8-2 complete "Introduction" handout (Lead, Bridge, Thesis) for Holoc

TODAY IN 7B: MONDAY MORNING ASSEMBLY AR READING ENGLISH 7-1: Introduction to WONDER board; read pp.82-90 and completed Quickwrite Question ENGLISH 7-2: Audio-introduction to U.7 Vocab; played Vocabulary Workshop online review: read Wonder pp.82-90 and completed Quickwrite Question  ENGLISH 8 BLOCK: SSW (last one until end of Trimester); Writing a Thesis--students worked to write clear theses for Holocaust Research Reports; when completed, handed Introduction Paragraph Handout  RELIGION: Students took a "Temperament Indicator" to help recognize their natural dispositions; class read "Jesus, Fully Human"  on p.11 and worked in small groups to complete a factual bio on Jesus (How Well Do You Know Your Friend?)
