Enjoy this beautiful weekend!!  TODAY IN 7B: WEEKLY MASS with 4B ENGLISH 7-1/7-2: students were given time to work on U.1 Vocabulary Workshop "Completing the Sentence"; 7-2 students submitted 1st draft of manifesto  FIRE DRILL ENGLISH 8-1: students were given time to work on U.1 Vocabulary Workshop "Completing the Sentence" ENGLISH 8-2: students were given time to work on U.1 Vocabulary Workshop "Completing the Sentence"; 8-2 submitted 1st draft of manifesto WEEKEND HOMEWORK: none
TODAY IN 7B: STAR READING TEST: all 7B students took 1st Trimester STAR Reading Assessment ENG 7-1: students submitted hardcopies of manifestos for teacher edit and then exchanged in class for multiple peer reviews ENG 7-2: 10 min SSW; U.1 SMARTBOARD Review; time to begin Synonyms & Antonyms HW ENG 8-1: (same as 7-1) ENG 8-2: (same as 8-2) RELIGION DISCIPLINE TALK with Dr. O FIRE DRILL MUSIC 7B HOMEWORK: ENG 7-1 & 8-1: submit FINAL MANIFESTOS on Google Classroom and bring hardcopy to English class for Back-to-School display ENG 7-2 & 8-2: finish U.1 Synonyms & Antonyms

TODAY IN 7A: TUESDAY MORNING ASSEMBLY: new policy is to take homeroom attendance PRIOR to all-school assembly PE NEW STUDENT/TEACHER Schedules distributed  ENGLISH 7-1 BLOCK: students did a 10 min SSW; reviewed U.1 via SMARTBOARD game; completed "Synonyms & Antonyms"; started Writing Your Manifesto lesson (with PowerPoint Introduction and prewriting packet); students ended class with a Freewrite to begin forming their own individual manifestos ENGLISH 8-1 BLOCK: students did a 10 min SSW; reviewed U.1 via SMARTBOARD game; completed "Synonyms & Antonyms"; started Writing Your Manifesto lesson (with PowerPoint Introduction and prewriting packet); students ended class with a Freewrite to begin forming their own individual manifestos RELIGION: students were given time to complete & submit Goal Paper and actual Locker Goals (for laminating) SPANISH: 1st Day of New Program COMMON SENSE MEDIA: Cyberbullying & Crossing the Line--students worked i
