  • ENGLISH 7: class completed and corrected pp.42-43 of U.1-3 Vocabulary Review (TEST FRIDAY)
  • ENGLISH 8: class completed and corrected pp.42-43 of U.1-3 Vocabulary Review (TEST FRIDAY); Ch.12 of The Devil's Arithmetic---Irony (Verbal/Situational/Dramatic); class read Ch.13 and discussed upcoming Realistic Fiction Assignment
  • RELIGION: class orally reviewed their solid basic knowledge of the Four Gospels, writings of Luke and Paul; then...began Unit 1 The Gospel of John 
  • LITERATURE: class read "Suzy and Leah" by Jane Yolen---realistic fiction story between two girls in NY (one an American and one a Jewish refugee post WWII); students worked in partners to complete literary analysis work
HOMEWORK:
  • NONE FOR ENGLISH 8-1 OR 8-2 (Internet was down earlier and I couldn't post it before school got out). 
  • LITERATURE: GC due Thursday
  • ENGLISH 7: study vocabulary words from U.1-3 for 50 Word Test (on Friday)
